Conyngham
Hall, is a short walk from the Riverside Pay & Display
Car Park, the Knaresborough Train Station and the
local Bus Stop at High Bridge.

By
Road...
from
the West (Skipton)
Follow the A59 (Skipton
Road) into Harrogate, when you reach the roundabout signposted
Knaresborough / Wetherby / Otley etc. turn right towards Knaresborough.
As you enter Knaresborough you will see the entrance to Mother
Shipton's Cave on your right, cross the bridge and turn immediately
left. This is the entrance to the Conyngham Hall, please use
the 300+ bay Pay and Display Car Park on the left of the drive
unless prior arrangements have been made, call 01423 799000
if there is any doubt.
from
the East (York)
Leave York on the A59 and
head towards Knaresborough. Once in Knaresborough head to the
end of the High Street and at
the traffic lights turn left onto Bond End. Go straight through
the next traffic lights then down the hill to the next set of
lights, immediately after these lights turn right. This
is the entrance to the Conyngham Hall, please use the 300+ bay
Pay and Display Car Park on the left of the drive unless prior
arrangements have been made, call 01423 799000 if there is any
doubt.
From
the North (A1)
Come in
on the A1 and turn off at Junction 47 onto the A59 (York Road).
Follow the A59 into Knaresborough. This changes into Knaresborough
High Street, at the end this road turn left at the traffic lights
onto Bond End, signposted to Harrogate. Go straight through
the next traffic lights then down the hill to the next set of
lights, immediately after these lights turn right. This is the
entrance to the Conyngham Hall, please use the 300+ bay Pay
and Display Car Park on the left of the drive unless prior arrangements
have been made, call 01423 799000 if there is any doubt.
From the North West
(Pateley Bridge/Grassington)
Come in on the B6165, at the
second roundabout turn off towards Knaresborough. This road
will lead to High Bond End. When you reach the Bond End traffic
lights turn right, then go down the hill to the next set of
lights, immediately after these lights turn right. This is the
entrance to the Conyngham Hall, please use the 300+ bay Pay
and Display Car Park on the left of the drive unless prior arrangements
have been made, call 01423 799000 if there is any doubt.
From the South
(Leeds)
Leave Leeds on the A61 (Harrogate
Road). At the roundabout turn right onto the A658 (Harrogate
Bypass). At the next roundabout turn left onto the A661 (Wetherby
Road). Take the first turn on the right (Forest Lane), cross
over the train line and continue until you reach the A59 (Forest
Lane Head) turn right here. As you enter Knaresborough you will
see the entrance to Mother Shipton's Cave on your right, cross
the bridge and turn immediately left. This is the entrance to
the Conyngham Hall, please use the 300+ bay Pay and Display
Car Park on the left of the drive unless prior arrangements
have been made, call 01423 799000 if there is any doubt.
By Rail...
from
the York/Leeds line
From the station platform
head down the hill into the church grounds down the Parsonage
walkway, which will come to a fork. Turn left here down the
slope/steps onto Bond End. Cross the road at the traffic lights
and you are at the entrance to Conyngham Hall driveway, from
here you can walk all the way down the drive or climb the steps
and walk down the path adjoining the pitch and putt course.
By Foot...
from
Knaresborough High Street
Leave the High Street
at Station Road, then turn right and then left into the Church
grounds, stroll past the church and down
the Parsonage walkway, which will come to a fork. Turn left
here down the slope/steps onto Bond End. Cross the road at the
traffic lights and you are at the entrance to Conyngham Hall
driveway, from here you can walk all the way down the drive
or climb the steps and walk down the path adjoining the pitch
and putt course. |
